Principle
The MINI Money-Changer fulfills the highest requirements with regard to functionality, compactness, and reliability. Installed according to VDE guidelines, it changes banknotes into coins or tokens. First of all, a note-acceptor takes up the bank-notes. Coins or tokens are then given out according to a specific, fixed exchange rate. As well as the normal functions of a money-changer, the MINI Money-Changer offers a multitude of possible applications due to its ease of operation and its efficient maintenance. Additional options increase the use of MTM exchange techniques and allow an individual and flexible customer configuration. The superior quality of the MINI Money-Changer is achieved by the consistent use of components that have proved their reliability through years of use. The components and structural units correspond to industry norms and guarantee a long service life for the appliance.
Structure and function
All components are enclosed within a sturdy but attractive steel sheet casing. Among other things, security for the unit is achieved using a 2mm steel sheet casing (hardened) and a 3mm door with a 5-way basquill lock set in a door rebate. For a bank-note acceptor, the EBA 11-SD2 by Japan Cash Machine, that takes up notes four ways round, comes installed as standard. Two Azkoyen hoppers stock the tokens and coins. Phoenix Mecano’s optionally available coin verifier with its optical coinage recognition offers the highest security against foreign money and forgeries.
Application
The sturdy steel sheet construction of the Money-Changer provides the best possible conditions for the security of the machine. The unit is designed predominantly for use on indoor walls. The configuration, filling and emptying processes take place via the front door, which is fitted with a security lock and a 4 point bolting system. Among other things, the installed note-acceptor can block single bank notes. It guarantees the highest possible protection against manipulation. A three-coloured LED informs servicers and customers about the current status of the appliance and its readiness for operation.
